Magnolia Autumn Card

Hello everyone! I feel like I haven't posted in a long time so I thought I'd share with you an autumn card I made a while ago. Since we are still enjoying fall here it's still not late to show it  to you.
I wanted to color up this Make It Crafty background, I think it looks lovely on an autumn card. The papers are all digital from Cajoline Scrap, love them.

It's been a while since I last posted a card which is not part of my DT commitments, I think I work quicker, if not better when there're no strings attached:).

LIli's Little Fairies- Anything Goes

Hi everyone!
My second post today is for
where we have an
ANYTHING GOES
theme, perfect time to play with our favorite stamps, no strings attached, no requirements.

I made a christening card this time, which looks really lovely IRL but I left home at the beginning of the week on a business trip and relied on hubby to take the pics. That's the reason why I'm late with this one, initially he sent me an incomplete card, then he realized he had to make a bow as I forgot to tie it up, so you can imagine the struggle he went through:))
So this is how a man made bows looks like ( no offense for the male crafters out there- he's not from that category:)):

I had to post it, I shall perhaps change the pic when I get home. You can take it from me it is a very cute card.

The inside is decorated to match the front . The papers are from different collections, some of them are digital. The flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts and the wooden elements from a local store. I also added some lace and seam binding from The Ribbon Girl.

And a pic of the inside:

Challenges:

Crafts and Me -Lace and Pearls, Little Red Wagon - Bow, Ruby's Rainbow -Cute and Cuddly, Bearly Mine - Anything Goes, Crafty Sentiments -Bows Or Ribbons, Everybody-Art-Challenge -Bling, Bunny Zoe's Crafts - Pink, Pearls & Lace, Kenny K`s Krafty Krew -Think Pink, A Gem of a Challenge - Flowers
Thank you for your visit! Hope many of you will join us at Lili's Little Fairies! Look forward to see your beautiful creations!

Hugs,

Autumn Fun at DP2

Hi there sweet peeps! With so many Christmas cards around blogland these days I think we should not forget it's still autumn and a time to enjoy gathering all the season's goodies. That's what I've done over the past weeks. I still enjoy picking corn or gathering grapes, as long as we are all a numerous bunch and have fun! It's been a lovely time of the year. We are not much into the "pumpkin affair" ...lol, as we do not celebrate Thanksgiving or Halloween but I truly enjoyed putting together this cute autumn card.

This week's challenge at Digital Pencil Too is

Autumn Fun!

How sweet is that! You will love the cards all my DT teamies have prepared for you! They are so bright and joyful!
Hope you'll like mine as well:

Here's a short explanation on how I made those pumpkins:
1. I printed different sizes of tiny pumpkins on 300 g heavy cardstock ( I used one of Mo's pumpkins to do that)
2.I colored them orange and  used a black marker to thicken the lines
3. i added glue on the orange parts and then orange decorative sand. I think they look nice:)

Here's a close-up of the fence with pumpkins and quilled flowers:

Supplies:

Image: Mo manning- Punkin
DP: My Minds Eye 12x12- Bloom and Grow and a few other from MME
Embellishments: quilled flowers, seam binding from WOC, wood bird, other bits and ribbon from stash

Just remember to use one (or more) of Mo Manning's images (you can find them in Mo's online store HERE) . . . and remember to follow this week's theme! And one important thing to keep in mind: Mo is giving away one $5.00 voucher at her online stores for every 25 entries! (selected by Random.Org, of course).

Color Me Creative Guest Designer

Hi everyone! I haven't been GD for a while now, thanks Suzanne and Tina for choosing me at Color Me Creative, it gave me the chance to color up a lovely image by Tiddly Inks  who are sponsoring this week's challenge and make a wedding card for a change.
As some of you probably know, I use both copics and promarkers to color up my images, so I may not be of much use for those looking for blending tips and other coloring advice. You can check out Suzanne Dean's coloring classes and much more at Color Me Creative for these matters. Sometimes I think I focus too much on the design and less on coloring due to lack of time. Maybe some day I will fix that:)

Here's my wedding card:

The challenge theme is Anything Goes with a touch of red. The thing is I thought this touch of red was optional, but well, somehow I managed to  pull it out and colored the bride's hair in a reddish tone. Hope you like the way it turned out.
Here are some close-ups:

Stamp: Tiddly Inks- You and Me
Coloring Medium: copics, promarkers
Embellies; flowers- WOC and IAM Roses

Letter Challenge at DP2 and another happy lot...

Happy Thursday sweet peeps! It's challenge day at Mo's Digital Pencil Too and time for you to rack your brains about all those B's you can put on your Mo card or project because we're having a letter themed challenge and that is:

B
(babies, buttons, brides, buttons, birthdays, blooms....)

Can't say I was very effective at finding B's as I didn't have much time to pond over this one. My card today was a request from a group of ladies for their sons' teacher at kindergarten on her birthday. Of course, Mo has the perfect images on these occasions. I just found it a bit hard to choose among them:)

I added the sentiment on the heart in Photoshop; it's the Romanian for "Happy Birthday!". Of course, I intentionally altered the "N" so as to appear kids wrote that:)

The oval nestie is removable.  Here's a close-up:

Ingredients:
DP: Marianne Design- Eline's Pretty Papers Bloc
Embellies: flowers and ribbon- WOC and IAM Roses, charm- Bunny Zoea, wood bird, pencils and lace- stash
Die cuts: nesties, Go Kreate

I would like to enter my card in the following challenges:
Crafts and Me - Anything Goes, Divas by Design -Anything Goes, Simon Says Stamp - dies/punches, Deep Ocean Challenge -Anything Goes, Incy Wincy Designs - Anything Goes, Totally Papercrafts – Lets see those shapes

Thank you so much for your visit! Please take a moment to check out my talented DT sister's cards, starting from the challenge blog here!

Lili's Little Fairies- Christmas card for boys

Hi there again!  It's challenge day at

and since I am a happy new fairy, I had to come up with a Christmas Card for a Boy. That was not such an easy one for me as I had to choose between 2 stamps which actually followed the theme. I went for these cute bears, I really love this stamp.

If you think this was an easy card to make- as it appears- believe me, it wasn't:) It took me ages- more than an hour- to knit that scarf:)). I used to crochet a bit in the past but definitely lost my touch. I won't do that soon enough...lol. I just felt this was the right embellishing for my card, I think it turned out nice.

Ingredients:
Stamp: Lili of the Valley- Collecting the Tree
DP: a mixture of Christmas papers- no idea which brands:(
Coloring medium: copics/promarkers
Embellishments: hand knitted scarf, charm fro Bunny Zoe, button from stash
Die-cuts; Marianne Design snowflake, nestabilities- label 3
Sentiment: Lili of the Valley

Challenges:
Divas by Design -Texture, Anything Goes Challenge -Animals, Paperminutes -Sewing, crocheting, knitting, Tuesday Throwdown - Cute & Cuddly, Cards For Men - Animals, Created With Love - Christmas, Incy Wincy Designs - Bears , Stamp and Create - Winter Wonderland, Gingerloft - Stitching (Real or Faux),

This card is for sale in my Etsy shop here.

Thank you so much for your comments, look forward to see your Christmas card for boys! I surely need some inspiration on this one too!

Anything Goes at Mo's Digital Pencil Too

Happy Wednesday sweet peeps! It's time for our Anything Goes challenge at
so just show us a Mo card, whatever crosses your mind, no strings attached this time. I try to go a bit ahead with my Christmas cards, I'm sure I'll need plenty of them by the end of the year, so here's what I made this time:

I merged Mo's gorgeous boy with drums, whom you can find here in her store, with a Make It Crafty background and added lots of glitter and stickles and Twinklets and false snow to create a Christmas scene. I also added an acetate sheet to protect the image and I think I like the way it turned out:):

Ingredients:
Stamps: Mo Manning- Shall I play it for you, Make It Crafty- Cold by Light
Coloring medium: copics, promarkers, chalks
DP: Graphic 45 Deluxe Christmas
Embellishments: flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, metal brads and charms from Bunny Zoe; ribbon- The Ribbon Girl
Sentiment: Lili Of the Valley

Here's a close up:

And a side shot, to show you how I added the acetate:

Sorry for the bad pics, I don't seem to get them right lately. Gotta practice on that.
