Lili of the Valley -Missing You Shaker Card

Hi everyone! Hubby took our little one to spend some father-son quality time this morning, so I had a couple of hours to sit and make a Lili of the Valley card. I've really missed my LOTV stamps lately, I still have about 10 more I haven't even inked yet (and 10 more to come from the Christmas collection:)) and it was quite difficult to pick one. This week challenge over at Lili of the Valley chosen by the most talented Pops is "Missing you", so this helped me out to narrow down my image choice. Eventually I went for this adorable Milly cuddle time, isn't she the cutest little girl?
And yes, it's a shaker card- I know, I've been making lots of these lately:)- but I really enjoy making them and people like them too- since I had in mind a kid recipient, I guess a clanking toy would always be welcome:). And I also must admit I kind of cheated here ...hehe, 'cause some of the pearls inside are glued:)). But it looks lovely IRL, take my word:)

And a side view:

Hi Iulia. Thank you for your lovely comment on my recent post. You must think that I have been copying you and I swear that the similarities in our recent creations are pure coincidence. Dorcas told me that the GD spot for DP2 would still be open this week whilst I was on holiday and I knew before I got home which image I wanted to use and that I wanted to add my compass stamp. My subconscious was obviously motivated from seeing your “Dare” card when you entered it into our Stamptacular challenge but when it came to making my card for DP2 I didn’t look at the site first, it hadn’t registered that you had made your card for DP2 and it was only after I posted my own card that I realised how closely my creation resembled yours and I was a little embarrassed. Imagine how I felt this morning when I came to visit you and saw you had used a dotty shadow on this little beauty. And it really is a beauty. My dotty shadow on Dare was an absolute coincidence!!!! All that said, I am going to follow you now. I love your work and in future, if I know that I have been inspired by you then of course I shall give you the necessary recognition! Hugs, Lesley
