Baby Christening Exploding Box

Hi, everyone and thanks for popping by! It's challenge day at Mo's Digital Pencil Too and I thought about making something other than a card for a change. This is going to be a gift for my newest godson; hope his mother doesn't follow my blog:). It's an exploding box; I used to make some of these in the past and seem to have forgotten they take a lot of time to put together and embellish. Well, I'm not a godmother every other day:)

Sorry for the pics, sometime I will have to sit and work on my camera settings, just that priorities are always other.

I left two more spots for other pics to be inserted. Those lovely fairies are all part of a set and a marvel to color, as my time was limited I chose them because besides the skin  there's so little to color up:). You can find them here in Mo's online store.

Here are some more pics:

Recipe:
DP: Cajoline Scrap- Easter Papers
Coloring medium: copics/promarkers
Embellishments: flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and IAM Roses; ribbon and lace/stash, feathers/stash, bling/WOC, acetate, crocheted baby boots and dummy
Die cuts: nestabilities- Fleur de Lys Squares, nestabilities- circle- grand and classic scalopped, Tim Holtz- Alphabet die strip- Upon a time, Cheery Lynn- exotic butterflies 2

I would like to enter my box in the following challenges:
Charisma Cardz -Use at least 5 different designer papers, Dutch Dare Card Challenge -For the Boys,  Crafts and Me -Dies/Punches, Fab 'n' Funky - Pastel Colors , Deep Ocean Challenge -For A Boy Card Mania - Fairies or ButterfliesKaboodle Doodles - Bling

Have I told you what this week's challenge was at Mo's? Not a chance to guess just by looking at my box:). It's BLING- those tiny sparkling cute beads we love adding to our  craft projects. Our sweet talented DT sister Kim is the hostess for this challenge and she made just the perfect choice. Who doesn't love bling?:)
So pick up a Mo image and some bling, make your own creation and share it with us at Mo's this week. You may be the lucky winner of a 5 dollar shopping spree at Mo's online store!
Hope many of you will join!

Have a wonderful rest of the week!

Lili's Little Fairies DT-- Butterflies

Hii again! We're having a Butterfly theme for you this week's at Lili's Little Fairies; loved making a card for this challenge; who doesn't like something with butterflies on?:)

I'm more into bright colors as you probably know but a more soft coloured card looks lovely now and then. I know crafters out there who never work with brights and their cards look amazing. I find it easier to work with these pastel colors than with brights; sometimes mixing and matching vivid colors give me headaches...lol.

I think I have to work on the settings of my camera; I don't seem to take some good shots lately; anyways the card looks prettier IRL.

Supplies
Image- Lili of the Valley- Pretty Bouquet
Coloring medium: copics/promarkers
DP: some disparate papers from different collections
Embellishments: flowers/Wild Orchid Crafts, ribbon and lace/Ribbon Girl, pearls- Bunny Zoe, Prima pin
Dies: Magnolia Doohikeys- Tilda lace border, fancy fence and swirl, bloomy tag,  Cheery Lynn- Exotic Butterflies2, punched butterflies, nestabilities- ovals- classic and scalopped

I didn't add a sentiment; just a tag on the upper part for a personal message.
Here's a close-up of the little envelope, think it looks lovely with the butterflies flying out...:

This card is for sale in my Etsy shop here.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
Craft Us Crazy -Show us your favourites, Forever Friends -Animals &/or Butterflys &/or Birds, Crafting By Design - anything goes, The Stamping Chef - Ribbon and lace, Bunny Zoe's Crafts -Flowers & Pearls, Created With Love -Things that Fly, Creative Stamp Friends -Pearls, Lace, Swirls, Cutie Pie Challenge -Pretty Pastels, House of Gilli -Anything goes with Pastels, Stamp and Create -Spring, Dream Valley Challenges -Ribbon and Bling, Penny Black and More -Pink, Pearly and Swirly

Hope you will find some time to play along at Lili's Little Fairies this week, we'd love to see butterflies of any kind- on image, on the paper or simply punched or machine cut. Look forward to see your creations!

Thank you all for your kind words each and every week! You are great!!!

Big hugs to all and take care!

Creativity is messy...

Hi there sweet peeps! I'm back with a bright Mo Manning card I made for this week's challnge at Digital Pencil Too. Our sweet talented DT sister Kat would like us to think for a bit out of the box and make something
non-square.

I don't have a Grand Calibur yet so I'm not very at ease with these challenges. Still, I do have some grand nestabilities which work in my Big Shot up to a certain dimension. So I chose an oval form and made a quick card using this delightful Mo Manning's  What to Draw, a perfect image for any occasion.

Supplies:
Image: Mo Manning- What to Draw -g
Coloring medium: copics/promarkers
DP: Nancie Rowe Janitz- Mixed 5- Mixed Media Backgrounds
Embellishments: flowers from WOC and IAM Roses,  pencils and pom poms/stash, ribbon, bling and lace/Ribbon Girl
Die-cutting: nestabilities- grand, classic and scalopped ovals
Sentiment: freebie on the internet

This is my card for today's challenge. I look forward to see what you ladies come up with, remember your creation has to be "Anything but square" and carry a Mo Manning image in order to enter the draw for a 5 $ shopping spree at Mo's store here.

Please take a look at the wonderful projects my DT sisters have prepared for you; each and every week they keep amazing me with their talent!

I'm enetering this card in the following challenges:
In the Pink -Pink & Bling, Sassy Studio Designs - Stitch it up , Fab 'n' Funky -Flower Power, Through The Craft Room Door Always Anything Goes!, Going Grey With Scrap-Creations -- Bingo* (flowers, die-cuts, digi image), ABC Challenges - Stitching (real or faux), Crafty Boots- Out of your Comfort Zone , Kaboodle Doodles - Anything but a Square, Pretty Little Ribbon -Anything Goes, The Crazy Challenge -Pink & Gems, Whoopsi Daisy -Make it Girly

Hi again! It's high time for those lovely Valentine cards everyone seems to be so keen on. I don't particularly make Valentine cards but when it comes to adding a touch of romanticism, well, I love that:). So our challenge theme for you this week at Lili's Little Fairies would be:
 love the way that sounds:).
I had a hard time choosing an image for this one, there are so many lovely ones. I went for this adorable couple and created a little scene. Hope you like it:

This card is for sale in my Etsy shop here.

Hope you will join us at Lili's Little Fairies this week; there are plenty of enjoyable LOTV images to go with the romantic theme:)
Thank you all for visiting! Have a lovely day!

Anything Goes at Mo's DP2

Hi everyone! We're having our monthly
challenge this Tuesday at Digital Pencil Too, so time to be creative no strings attached with a Mo image on, of course:)

I made a summery card; I had this image precolored and an extremely busy week; although I had in mind a Valentine card with a fab new Mo Manning image, this one would do for now. Perhaps next week will be a better one for me and my creative side:):

Those papers are glossy and I had a hard time taking a good pic; though it looks lovely in flesh. The sentiment is in Romanian, says "Happy Birthday!" I didn't have in mind a particular recipient for this one, I just realize I have just a few birthday cards and I always need more.

Card supplies:
Image: Mo Manning- Lacie
Coloring medium: copics/promarkers
Embellishments:  flowers and brad/Wild Orchid Crafts and IAM Roses,  pearls/Bunny Zoe, ribbon and sunglasses/stash
Die cutting: Magnolia Doohikeys- grass border and flower, nestabilities- fancy tags, punched leaves

Now, before you start working on this week's challenge project , please take a moment and visit Mo's Digital Pencil challenge blog to see what we have prepared for you, I'm sure you won't be dissappointed. Then, don't forget to color up at least one Mo Manning image in order to be in the draw for the 5$ shopping spree at Mo's store.

Thank you all for coming by today! Take good care!

Anything but square at Lili's Little Fairies

Hi again! This is my second post for the day, please scroll down for my Mo Manning DT card.
At Lili's Little Fairies we're having a Shaped Cards challenge; whatever is not square works for us as long as it carries a Lili of the Valley image on!

I made a sort of bag card for a change, something sweet and girly to go with this adorable LOTV image. IThis would make a perfect gift  as long as I also include some chocolate in:) I did so but don't quite like the way they look so I might change them:

Recipe:
Image: Lili of the Valley- Emma Shoes
Coloring medium: copics/promarkers
DP: Sweet Shoppe Designs- Fly Away with me and Cosmo Cricket- Upcycle
Embellishments: flowers/Wild Orchid Crafts and IAM Roses,  ribbon/WOC (colored with Burnt Orange), elastic brown ribbon from stash, pearl pin/Prima, sparkling rhinestone/WOC, charm and pearls/Bunny Zoe's
Die cuts: Nestabilities circles and lacey circle, ovals for the handles

Yeah, I know those chocolate candies look a bit crowded in there, just wanted to show you how the bag looks with something inside.

Here are a few challenges for my chocolate bag:
Paper Crafting Journey -For a Girl,  Wild Orchid Challenge- Anything Goes, Dream Valley Challenges -Girls, Girls, Girls

This is it from me today; hope you guys will pick up a Lili of the Valley image and make something out of your comfort zone, I know I did with this bag and  making it square would have made things a lot easier...lol.

Thanks for your comments, wishing you all a lovely rest of the week!
Hugs,

Well the thing is I'm back with another Mo Manning card I made for this week's challenge over at Digital Pencil Too.  My talented DT sister Franz chose for us this week's theme and that's a pretty easy one :

Ribbon and/or lace

Easy-peasy, right? Hope many of you will join in! Check out Mo's latest images, they couldn't get cuter than this:).
