Christmas card!

Hi everyone! I eventually have a new card to share with you. I realized I was so lucky to be asked to join Mo Manning DT, otherwise I guess I would have left crafting aside for a while. Thus, I am so happy that duty calls...lol:) So, we have a new challenge for you up an running starting this Thursday at Digital Pencil Too, this time I chose to get some furry friends involved:) So pick up those gorgeous Mo Manning cats, dogs, mice, rabbits, so many to choose from; you can check the Animal section in Mo's store to get the picture:)
Here's my card:

I did some image merging for this one; just couldn't decide upon which one to choose:) These are among the first images I bought when I started stamping and they simply stick with me. Thought I'd also get into some Chrissy cards, I'm sure I  won't have them done in due time.

Recipe:
Papers; digital- no idea where from
Coloring medium: promarkers and copics
Embellies: poinsettia from stash, pearls, brad and charm from BunnyZoe, Marianne Design fir tree branch die cut
Sentiment: peel-off

That's it from me; hope you will find some spare time to join us at Digital Pencil Too this week; would love to see all our furry friends on your beautiful cards!
Thank you all so much for being here today! Take care!

Mo Manning Autumn Card

Hi everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Digital Pencil Too and it was my turn to host again. I'm aware seasons and temperature vary around the globe, but here in Romania we start to feel autumn chills and see nice shades of rusty reds in foliage; so I thought an autumn theme would be quite appropriate. Here's an inspiration pic for you today- a nice  bouquet of flowers:

I made a simple card, nothing fancy, I just wanted to color up this gorgeous Mo Manning image called Raking ever since I first saw it.  I love this boy's attitude and this image can be used on so many occasions!

and a close-up:

Tools and materials:
Stamp: Mo Manning- Raking
Medium: copics/Promarkers, chalks, DI
DP: Basic Grey- Pyrus and MME, I think
Embellishments: WOC flowers, pins, gems and button from Bunny Zoe, ribbon and charm from stash;

Sentiment: Lili of the Valley

That's it from me for today. So many of you have joined for our celebration challenge...wow! We hope you will join in the autumn fun too! Look forward to see your colorful creations!

Lili of the Valley -Missing You Shaker Card

Hi everyone! Hubby took our little one to spend some father-son quality time this morning, so I had a couple of hours to sit and make a Lili of the Valley card. I've really missed my LOTV stamps lately, I still have about 10 more I haven't even inked yet (and 10 more to come from the Christmas collection:)) and it was quite difficult to pick one. This week challenge over at Lili of the Valley chosen by the most talented Pops is "Missing you", so this helped me out to narrow down my image choice. Eventually I went for this adorable Milly cuddle time, isn't she the cutest little girl?
And yes, it's a shaker card- I know, I've been making lots of these lately:)- but I really enjoy making them and people like them too- since I had in mind a kid recipient, I guess a clanking toy would always be welcome:). And I also must admit I kind of cheated here ...hehe, 'cause some of the pearls inside are glued:)). But it looks lovely IRL, take my word:)

And a side view:

Dies: Cheery Lynn French Pasrty doily, circle nestabilities- classic, scalopped, eyelet circles;
Misc: beads, rhinestones from stash, DI (antique linen), glitter pen;
Sentiment: Lili of the Valley

Digital Pencil Too- Challenge 99th- Boy Attitude

Hi there dear friends! We reached challenge 99 over at Digital Pencil Too, I've only been there since the 59th to be accurate:) and DT member for about the last 10 chellenges but I'm totally addicted to Mo's images; and this addiction grows with every new drawing she comes up with, and I can tell you she's a really prolific lady:)
It was again my turn to choose a theme and this time I wanted something for a boy. I have mainly boys in my family for now- they all count on me for a girl...lol; but for now we would love to see some
on your cards; I guess that would be a simple task  as all Mo's characters have a well defined attitude towards everything:).
I chose one of Mo's newest images, called Dare, a young man Mo imagined as ready to set forth on life's journey. Well, I had in mind more of a "travelling" youngster who is ready to go and see the world as plain as that. The inside is simple, just to compliment the front, no gadgets, no swirls...lol.

and a close-up:
Recipe:
Stamp: Mo Manning: Dare
Coloring medium: copics/promarkers
DP: K&Co (not sure, I've looked all morning, couldn't figure this out:( ), and Prima- Botanical, the golden globe is from a greeting  card
Embellishments: compass from stash, meatl corner from WOC, Tim Holtz film strip ribbon, gold dew drops from Robin's Nest
Misc: stickles, DI (antique linen and vintage photo), nestie labels 8
Sentiment: Mo Manning- came along with the image

Challenges:
Freshly Brewed -something new (stamp)
Creative Card Crew - Anything Goes
Cards For Men - G is for...  (glitter, gold)
Cheerful Stamp Pad - Pick something unusual and Recycle it  (compass)
Crafty Boots -Anything Goes
Make it Monday - always Anything Goes
Card Cupids -Card with Stitching
Kenny K Krafty Girlz -  Vintage/Grunge
One Stitch At A Time - Use a Digi
Stamptacular Sunday - Must use a stamp - Anything Goes

That's it for today; hope my card inspired you into joining us for our weekly challenge. I would love to see Mo's boys on your cards- as simple as that- no sketches or color schemes to follow:)
Please take a moment to visit my DT sisters' blogs- they have gorgeous boy cards to show you today, you won't be disappointed:)
Thank you so much for being here today!
Have a great rest of the week!

Happy, happy, happy...

Hi everyone! It's been a week already since I last posted; yes, I guess that makes me a lazy crafter:(. I had a couple of cards in mind but then I thought spending more outdoor time and less computer and indoor time and I've really enjoyed that.
It's time for another challenge at Digital Pencil Too and this time I'm the hostess. I chose my challenge themes way ago and tried to keep them simple and approachable. So this week, we have a sketch for you to play with:):

Feel free to interpret it as you wish, just keep in mind the main elements. This is my card:

 And a close-up:
I was looking forward to coloring this gorgeous image by Mo Manning called "Peaches" and was afraid summer ended off before I made a card with this cutie here. Well, I made it...lol! I even took the time to make a paper rose- the big orange one- and, all in all, I really loved making this card. Happy cards are always a joy to make:)
Recipe:
Coloring medium: copics, promarkers, chalks and DI
Embellishments: handmade rose, WOC flowers, ribbons and pins from The Ribbon Girl, WOC metal corner, Martha Stewart butterfly punch with a thik coat of Glamour Dust:), lots of stickles
Sentiment: quote by Mark Twain- freebie from here

Hope many of you will join us for the sketch challenge. What could be easier than pulling out a Mo image (no restrictions here, and God knows there are soooo many to choose from:)) and follow a simple sketch? Look forward to  admire your beautiful creations! Don't forget to go and check the beautiful work of my DT fellows and leave them some love. They've worked hard over the summer for us to provide inspiration despite the vicissitudes, Irene and hurricanes, I'm really proud of them all!

Thank you all so much for coming by today! Wish all the best and quick recovery   to all of you who were hit by Irene last week, you were all in my thoughts and prayers!
Hugs,
