Pastel Colors at Mo's DP2

Hi there sweet peeps! Hope your day is so far and just getting better:).
First, I would like to thank all those who took the time to leave me a comment during this past week. The Spring Blog Hop at Mo's was such fun and we were happy to see so many of you visiting our blogs:)
This week's challenge at Digital Pencil Too was chosen by our very talented Italian lady Franz, and that is:

Now, don't you just love pastels?
I made a baby girl card, for once with no recipient in mind. I just wanted to color up this adorable image I've been wanted to use for a loooong time but Mo originally designed it with fairy ears and I thought it wouldn't be quite appropriate for a baby card. But since many of us thought the same, Mo has changed the fairy's ears with normal ones and now she's just perfect!:)

This sweet image is called Baby Fairy Flora and you can find it here in Mo's store. I did some quilling here too, just love the delicacy of quilled flowers. I also added some pearls in the center of the flowers and a baby girl charm from My Crafty Heart. The butterfly is a Cheery Lynn die.

Now, it's your turn to make something cute in pastel colors using a Mo Manning image, of course:) and then show it to us to be in the draw for a 5 $ shopping spree at Mo's! You know Mo is giving away one of these every 25 entries, so more chances for you to win!

Thank you so much for coming by my blog today! Have a wonderful rest of the week!

Spring Blog Hop at Mo's

Hello there sweet peeps,

Today is a special day for all of us at Mo's Digital Pencil Too as we celebrate a wonderful Blog Hop, the first one since I joined this great team, and it's about two years now:). Wow, I'm so excited!!!

Spring_blog_hop

Both the Dream Team and the Challenge Team for Mo’s Digital Pencil have joined forces to bring you this spectacular Blog Hop with 6 brand new images being released today.
Not only that, but we have a hidden discount code in flowers on some of the blogs so make sure you start at the very beginning of the Blog Hop and jot them down in order and you will get a whopping 25% discount when you apply the code to the shop.

I made a wall hanging on this occasion, thought I'd frame this wonderful image- quite easy to color, despite the size- and give it the credit it deserves. I spent some time crocheting and quilling too:)

Ingredients:
Image: Mo Manning- Daffodils
DP: Doodlebug
Embellishments: crocheted and quilled flowers, pearls and plaster mushroom and snail
Die-cuts: Tim Holtz- Once Upon a Time alphabet strip

The image only is 6x6  and the entire wall hanging is about 9x9 inches. If anyone wants to have this, it is for sale in my Etsy Shop here.

We all love Mo's images and our supertalented artist has spent many hours designing for us the most beautiful spring images. I'm sure you'll love them to bits!

This is a preview of all 6 of the new images

Things with Wings

Hi there sweet friends!
Our challenge theme for you this week at Mo's Digital Pencil Too is a really cute one chosen by our sweet colleague Debbie:
Things with Wings!

I'm pretty sure we all love "anything with wings", so you either use a Mo image with wings or just add some birds or butterflies on your card, just as good.

For my card today I used Mo's Teen Fairy Mia and went for more pastel colors for a change. I also discovered a new hobby with these crocheted flowers which are so relaxing and easy to make!

Card recipe:

Image- Mo Manning - Teen Fairy Mia
DP: Lynn Griffin- Lavender Love
Coloring medium: copics/promarkers
Embellishments: crocheted flowers, quilled flowers, ribbon, doily/stash, pearls
Die cutting: Cart-Us-scalopped rectangle, punched butterflies, Poppystamps bird cage die-cut and Lorelei leaf
Sentiment: computer generated

This card is for sale in my Etsy shop here.

Thank you all so much for stopping by today, hope you will join us for this week's challenge! Don't forget Mo has a 5 dollar shopping spree to offer to one lucky winner at every 25 entries!

Big hugs to all!

Baby Christening Card

Happy Thursday sweet friends!
It's my second post for the day, this time I'll show you a baby card I made a couple of weeks ago as a request; this is the first time I'm using a die cut precolored image. I bought some of those for quick cards, not for blog posting but this is a lovely card, so I thought I'll show it to you just for the design:) I;ve also colored it a bit to make the image brighter and I think it looks nice:)

Our challenge theme at Lili's Little Fairies is "All stitched Up", of course, you can actually stitch or do some faux stitching, both would be just perfect:)

My card recipe:
Image: LOTV - Die cut design (I think this image is redrawn at the moment)
DP: Cajoline Papers
Embellishments: Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, wood elements Cart-Us, charm/Bunny Zoe's,
Die-cutting: nestabilities Fleur-de-lys, Cheery Lynn exotic butterfllies 2, Tim Holtz alphabet strip die

That's it from me today, hope you will join us for this week's challenge over at Lili's Little Fairies, it's an easy theme and look forward to see what you come up with!

Thank you for coming by today, have a wonderful rest of the week!

Easter Cutie

Hi there sweet friends!
This is our last chellenge before the Spring Blog Hop next week!!! Yay!!! Looking forward to that one!
Just to warm up I chose to make another spring themed card and played with lots of bright colors for this one. It was a bit risky to put all these colors together especially because I also added a fabric panel (the bright colored one with flowers) both on the outside and in the inside.

So I definitely followed this week's challenge over at Digital Pencil Too. Our DT supertalented sister Tracy has prepared for us the following theme:
Add fabric to your projects!
Now, you can add many types of fabric to your projects:  lace, twill tape, burlap, canvas, cheesecloth, etc. Just let your imagination fly!

A while ago I had a few attempts at some quilting but gave up from lack of proper tools. But I still have some beautiful patterned fabrics and hope to actually make something nice soon enough. Fabric is a bit tricky to sew on paper but looks lovely and provides a natural texture. The image is mounted on pads but a cardstock panel was sewn on the fabric underneath to make sure it adheres properly.
I also made a crocheted flower, these are quite quick to make and will add more on my cards in the future.

Card supplies:
Image- Mo Manning- Easter Baby Girl
DP: some digital papers plus fabric
Coloring medium: promarkers/copics
Embellishments: crocheted doily, IAM Roses and WOC flowers, eggs from local store colored with copics, lace from WOC
Die cutting: Tim Holtz- alphabet strip die, Cart-Us scalopped rectangle

That's my card for today, look forward to see your beautiful projects, I'm really curious about how we can include all sorts of fabrics on our projects.

Don't forget Mo is offering a 5 dollar shopping spree for every 25 entries so don't miss your chance for a free image:)!

Big hugs to all! Have a wonderful rest of the day!
